Our Mission Statement 

Our goal is to inform all care providers, such as foster caregivers, care home staff, and educators, about the needs of afro and textured hair.

 

We will provide them with the appropriate language and terminology to use when interacting with young individuals, helping to eliminate hair discrimination and foster safe, inclusive environments.

 

We strive to establish inclusive spaces in homes, care facilities, schools, salons, and community areas.
